WBSO audit announced; help!

Now that the realization notifications have been made, it is time again for the WBSO checks by RVO. Now that we have definitely left the Corona period behind us, we also expect more and more physical company audits. These will cover the projects of the years 2022 and 2023. However, you have to keep the project records for at least 7 years; they may look further back.

These company audits can be done by an RFO advisor or by an RFO inspector. An advisor will focus more on the technique of your project and its administration while the inspector will focus more on the administration and WBSO process monitoring. 

In preparation for the audit, you will be asked to send in the WBSO administration (you will be given some time for this). You must be able to show the hours used per R&D employee and the activities performed during those hours. With the costs and expenses option, you will also be asked to send copies of the invoices of the costs and expenses.
